
TAFT, CA – Adding to the team's top accomplishments and accolades, sophomore outside hitter Grace Witcher (Liberty High School) was voted 3C2A First Team All-State and First Team-All Region. Witcher was only one of 12 student athletes in the entire 3C2A to earn this prestigious honor.
Witcher was also voted as First Team All-Conference for the Central Valley Conference, selected as the State Player of the Week in Week 11, and earned the Bakersfield Jockey Club Award in October.
Throughout the 2024 volleyball season, Witcher proved herself to be one of the most dominant outside hitters in the state. In just one season, Witcher collected 455 kills, 533 points, 404 digs, and 57 aces. Witcher was also #5 in the state with 4.64 kills per set.
