TAFT, CA – On October 2, 2024, sophomore Ariana Helbling recorded her 1,000th assist against Columbia College. The 5'7 setter is in her second year under Taft College Head Women's Volleyball Coach Mallori Rossi.

Coach Rossi commented, "We are very proud of Ari for this huge milestone. To get 1,000 career assists in the middle of her sophomore year is a testament to the hard work she has put in to get here."

Helbling hails from El Paso, Texas.

Taft College Volleyball is currently 17-3 with a #17 state ranking on the season with a second place standing in the Central Valley Conference. 

The Cougars next match will be on the road against Porterville College on Friday, October 11 at 6:00 pm.
