Kristin Everett enters her first year as a student assistant coach for the Taft College Women’s Basketball program.

During her playing career, she was a four-year varsity basketball player in the Bakersfield, CA area schools. In 2016, she attended Liberty High School and later transferred to Ridgeview High School, graduating in 2020. Everett then played one season at MiraCosta College in 2020-2021.

Everett began coaching in 2022 returning to Bakersfield with stints at Ridgeview and Centennial high schools. In the summers of 2022 and 2023, she also coached in the AAU circuit programs with 3^rd World 14U Boys and GSA (Gameday Sports Academy) Elite 16U Girls. While coaching at Centennial, Everett started her training program called Mt. Everett Academy, where she instructed and trained individual and group skill work clinics. At GSA, she coached and trained ages 3-14 for a developmental league introducing the fundamentals of basketball.
