TAFT, CA - Sophomore golf student-athlete Felicia Contreras of Taft College has added another achievement to her season.

On November 19, 2024, Contreras was recognized by the Bakersfield Jockey Club in attendance to accept her award at Hodel's Restaurant in Bakersfield.

The special guest presenter to award the winners was Nick Papagni, who is the host of The Pagmeter.

Coach Lagmay, along with other athletic coaches, were present to speak on behalf of their student athletes. Contreras was one of 18 student athletes to be recognized for possessing high standards as a student and athlete in Kern County.
