Cougars Golf Enjoying the Splendors at Half Moon Bay

TAFT, CA – On Monday, April 7, the Taft College Men's Golf team played at Half Moon Bay Golf Links in Half Moon Bay, California. Half Moon is a beautiful course that overlooks the ocean and is described by locals as "a true gem."

TC golfer Brady Shipley said, "It is a great course to play, and it was a tough track."

This was their NorCal Preview / Big 8 Conference #7 tournament, and the men represented Taft College well. 

Leading the Cougars again was Holden Moreno with a 78. Next was Kasen Clark with an 85 and closely behind him was Brady Shipley with an 89. Kohlson Schooley came in right behind with a 90 and finishing the scores was Ryker Scherer shooting a 100. Their team score was 442.

Their next match is on Wednesday, April 9, where they will be playing at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course for the Big 8 Conference #8. The countdown to State has begun with it being 4 weeks away.
