Brock McMurray is the Superintendent/President at Taft College. Brock has worked a majority of his twenty-seven years as a community college administrator at Taft College. He has experience in athletics, student services, fiscal and administrative leadership, and with strategic long-term planning.
Brock was raised in Louisiana and first came to California as a 10th round draft pick by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is an active Rotarian with the Taft chapter and has served on numerous boards and community workgroups in his two decades of working at Taft College. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Delta State University and was once a community college student-athlete himself. Brock is married to his wife Kim, has three children, and one grandson with another grandbaby on the way.
