Taft College Athletic Director Kanoe Bandy to be Inducted into the Women’s Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame
TAFT, CA – The honor of being inducted to an athletic Hall of Fame requires components of legendary status. From being a student of the game, coaching a sport, winning a plethora of games and multiple championships, servicing the community, guiding success to high academic performance, and mentoring student-athletes, are all qualities that fit the description of being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
We're proud to announce that Taft College Athletic Director Kanoe Bandy is the next Hall of Fame inductee for the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association! Kanoe coached Taft volleyball for 33 years and served 22 years as CCCWVCA secretary/treasurer dedicating decades of service and leadership to the sport.
This Thursday, December 4 at 5:00 pm, in conjunction with the 3C2A Women's Volleyball State Championship, the banquet for the Hall of Fame will be held at Folsom Lake College in the practice gym. Cost of attendance is $40 per ticket.
