Tanner Leikam, a Taft College alum and former TC golfer, has been highlighted for his recent achievements. Tanner, now a United States Marine, earned his associate degree from Taft College in liberal arts with an emphasis in communications in May of 2018.

Tanner attributes his success to the education he received at Taft College, citing the great teachers and mentors on campus. He was a member of the men’s golf team during the first two years that the program was reinstated, 2017 and 2018. Tanners’ best memories of Taft College include making new friends and hitting the tying shot for a chance at his team going to state.
