Taft College sophomore catcher, Allie Dobbs, signs with Cal State Bakersfield. Dobbs is entering into her sophomore season coming off a tremendous freshman year. She finished the year receiving First Team All-Central Valley Conference as a catcher, as well as being a part of the All Northern California Team.
"I feel so extremely blessed to be able to commit to play Division 1 softball at Cal State Bakersfield. This experience has been so surreal, and I feel extremely blessed to be in this position" said Allie.
Dobbs is a Wasco High Alumnus who was a standout for the Tiger Softball Program. In her first season as a Taft College Cougar, Dobbs batted .450 with 12 homeruns, driving in 28 RBIs, scored 28 runs and stole 5 bases.
Dobbs will be joining the Cal State Bakersfield Softball Team for the 2020 season as a catcher.
