Irey shoots 84 to lead Taft at home tourney

A trio of Taft College women's golfers competed at Tuesday's Conference Tournament #7. Once again, sophomore Alyssa Irey paced the Cougars by shooting 84 at Buena Vista Golf Course in Taft.

Joining Irey in action were fellow sophomores Isabella Salazar Martinez (117) and Aylinne Narvaez-Torres (148). Freshman Belen Delgado did not compete at the event. With just three players in action, TC did not earn a team score.

The Cougars return to action on Thursday (Mar. 18) when they will compete in Conference Tournament #8 at Kings River Golf & Country Club in Kingsburg.
