Christine Hipa enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Taft College softball team.

The former utility player was a 2019 graduate from CSU Bakersfield. As a freshman in 2016, Hipa earned second-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors. She followed that with an impressive sophomore season and was a first-team All-WAC selection. She closed her CSUB career by being named to the All-WAC Tournament team her senior year. Hipa also twice earned Academic All-WAC honors.

Hipa is looking forward to being apart of the Cougars in the 2019-2020 season.
