Taft

Dr. Debra Daniels has served as Superintendent/President of West Kern Community College District and Taft College since July of 2016.  Dr. Daniels came to Taft from Joliet, Illinois. She began her college education at a community college and later earned both her Masters and Doctorate in Education from the University of Illinois. Dr. Daniels has over 30 years of experience in higher education, which includes serving as President of Joliet Junior College in Illinois, San Bernardino Valley College in California and New Mexico State University at Alamogordo in New Mexico. Prior to her role as president, she was a vice president of academics and student services and a faculty member teaching dental assisting and dental hygiene.
