TAFT, CA- On Friday, September 29, Taft College Women's Volleyball challenged West Hills College Coalinga, at Coalinga.
Coming from Wednesday's loss to Merced College, Taft was looking to make their comeback against Coalinga. However, the Falcons fought hard and took all three sets.
The Cougars are continuing to get better and are learning from each match to prepare for the next.
"Tonight was a tough loss but we will focus on the improvements we made in our defense as we take small strides to get back on track. Kailee Wakatake and Ariana Helbling were all over the place on defense and reading very well! Although our offense struggled to find a rhythm, Jayde Gonzalez played aggressively and battled for us at the net." Said TC Head Coach Mallori Rossi.
Taft will be challenging Fresno City College at home on Wednesday, October 4 at 5:00 pm.
