10/20/17 Reedley Game

Taft College takes on Reedley College in 4 sets coming home with a win. Taft had a slow start pulling off the first set with a 25-20 win, falling short on the 2nd set with a 23-25 end score, building up to winning the 3rd set 25-16 and 4th set 25-15. A moment to remember was in set 3 when Taft was down by 5 points coming back and winning the game by throwing around the game they were playing, tipping with short shots. Once we were able to give that game back to them; we came up with a win in the 3rd and 4th set. Allison Mizener led the service board with 19 points and 1 ace with 1 error. To follow was Jazlyn Bulatao with 11 points and 2 aces and Madison Dougherty with 10 points and 1 ace. Allison Mizener also led the board with 29 digs with Madison Dougherty with 25 digs and Erin Fujitani with 20 digs. Emily Salazar ended the night with 51 assists. Taft College will have 3 home games being Tuesday, October 24 at 5pm vs Columbia, Wednesday, October 25 at 6pm vs COS, and Friday, October 27 at 6pm vs Merced. Taft is preparing to take on these teams for our 3 home game streak and would love your support at these games!
