TAFT, CA – In a challenging fixture against Folsom Lake College, the Lady Cougars Women's Soccer Team of Taft College side met an opposition that was brimming with individual talent and well-prepared for the contest. While the match exposed areas of improvement for them, it is essential to remember the potential within the team. Folsom defeated Taft on September 26.

On the day, Folsom demonstrated their strengths, outpacing and outplaying Taft across the board. Women's Head Soccer Coach Lyle Martin, Jr., commented on a sobering experience, "Given our team's capabilities, the belief I hold in our players is steadfast, and I continually hope they recognize their own potential as much as I do. Embracing that self-belief can dramatically shift their performance every time they lace up their boots."

Coach Martin continued, "While the outing was not indicative of our best, it provides valuable lessons moving forward. Our goal remains clear: to evolve, enhance our performance, and reach the pinnacle of our potential by the season's end."

The Cougars' next match is Friday, September 29 as they travel on the road to battle out Madera College.
