TC softball hosted College of the Sequoias for a conference double header on Tuesday. The ladies could not pull out a win in either game losing 1-7 the first game and 6-15 in the second.
In the first game the Cougars did not produce many hits and only scored one run by Alyssa Garcia. The second game was better offensively as they collected 5 home runs, 2 from Allie Dobbs and Andrea Garner, and one from Courtney Zimmerman.
"Entering conference play this week, we made a big adjustment on defense, which held our errors to a minimum", said Coach Brixey. The Cougars had an overall great defensive day. The pitchers led well in the circle and the girls had a high intensity level during both games.
Brixey also stated, "Both pitchers came in and allowed the defense to back them up and helped the team finish a solid two games with 2 errors."
