Taft is 4-8-3 overall and returns to Central Valley Conference on Tuesday (Oct. 29) with a 3 p.m. home game against visiting West Hills College Lemoore. The Cougars are 1-1-1 in CVC play.

In the win over Canyons, Taft got goals from Joel Meza in the 15th minute and an insurance goal by Ramiro Juarez in the 60th. Ronaldo Valderrama and Meza were credited with assists.
