The TC Cougars Men's Soccer team had an away game vs Clovis Community College today. The Cougars finished with a win on the road with a final score of 2-1. Clovis scored first, mid-way through the first half. Hugo Magana came in as a sub and tied the game 1-1 in the 42nd minute. Josue Cartagena pumped a ball to the back side of the goal and Hugo scored the goal with a header. In the 68th minute Taft got to see their second goal. Hugo Magana scored with a simple finish that was assisted by Alex Cabrera. Alex passed the ball across the floor in the box and Hugo put it in the back of the net. The Cougars know that they won this game but will not settle. Now they focus on their next game in which they will face Fresno City College on Friday, October 5th at 3pm.
