On Wednesday, April 2, the Taft College Men's Golf Team played in Dinuba at Ridge Creek Golf Club. Nearly halfway through the season, the men's golf players have been practicing hard in Taft at Buena Vista. Their scores reflect that hard work. Though it was a long, yet good day at Ridge Creek, TC was represented well with some solid scores.
Leading the Cougars, Holden Moreno had a very impressive round shooting a 73. Not too far behind him was Brady Shipley with a 79. Kohlson Schooley came in with a 90 and following him was Ryker Scherer shooting a 95. Finally, Kasen Clark finished the scores with a 105. They had a team score of 442.
The Cougars' next match will be the NorCal Preview/Big 8 Conference #7 and that will be held at Half Moon Bay Golf Course. As the season begins to wrap up, Taft College Head Men's Golf Coach said, "We are looking forward to watching these men excel through their final matches and prepare to do great things at Regionals and State."
