Taft College sophomore Garrison Chavez shot a two-round score of 161 to finish in a tie for 48th place at the 2019 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Men’s Golf State Championship on Monday. The event was held at the Silverado Resort & Spa golf course in Napa.
Taft College sophomore Garrison Chavez turned in a two-round score of 153 to tie for ninth place while freshman Jacob Postiff shot 161 to tie for 28th place at the Northern California Championships on Monday. The event took place at the Yolo Fliers Club Golf Course in Woodland and was hosted by Sierra College.
