The Taft College Men's Golf Team hosted the second of twelve CVC matches on February 15th 2017 at Mifflin Buena Vista Golf Course. None of the other 21 players posted a better score than Blake Bourelle who fired 4 under par 68 en route to his first career collegiate victory in just his 4th start for Taft College. For the 2016 Stockdale graduate, it is his best round of 2017 for the Cougars. Coming in behind Bourelle was a two over par 74 from Vance Millwee. Millwee also posted his best round of the 2017 season to date and claimed a tie for fifth place. Tanner Leikam claimed a tie for fourteenth place with a score of 81. Hayden DeFreece capped off the match with a score of 90. The Cougars will be back in action on March 1 in the third CVC match in Lemoore, CA.
