Taft College began their Spring Break trip with a loss against Compton College at the MLB Youth Academy Stadium. Cassius Shy started for the Cougars and allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in 2.1 innings of work for the loss.
Offensively, Jayce Gardner went 4-for-5, Wesley Hebert went 3-for-5, and Javier Ramirez went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Taft did not have a single base hit.
