Taft College traveled to Coalinga for game two of three game and took a 12-2 victory over West Hills College. Freshman lefty Cassius Shy pitches 7 innings and strikes out 7 to get the win. Kyle Gaura goes 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's, Zach Jones goes 3-for-6. Jayce Gardner hammered out 2 hits in 5 at-bats. Leonardo Fontanez tossed the 8th and 9th preserving the win.
Taft College will host game three of the series against West Hills on Saturday at Cougar Field. First pitch is at 1:00 pm.
