Taft dropped a home game against LA Pierce on Tuesday 5-3. Nick O'Connor tossed 5 solid innings and allowed just 2 earned runs. Three additional pitchers tossed out of the bullpen.
The Cougar bats could only manufacture three runs on 8 hits. DH, Noah Sirkel collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats.
The Cougars will look to string together some wins starting Thursday February 22 at Hartnell College in Salinas.
