The Cougars traveled to Visalia on April 28th to play their final road game of the season. Seth Sorensen tossed 4 innings and gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. Matt Rogers came out of the bullpen to earn the win carving 5 innings, and allowing no runs on just three hits.

The Cougars traveled to Visalia on April 28th to play their final road game of the season. Seth Sorensen tossed 4 innings and gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. Matt Rogers came out of the bullpen to earn the win carving 5 innings, and allowing no runs on just three hits.
The Cougars manufactured 5 runs on 12 hits. A big fifth inning was the gateway to win on Thursday. Richard Ortiz singled to drive in Austin Pendergrass, then Brenden Halstrom doubled to drive in 2, and Ricky Sottile hit a deep fly ball to drive in Ortiz for the game's final run.
Travis Turner, Luke Lubiniecki, Ortiz, and Halstrom all went 2-for-5, and Austin Pendergrass collected 3 hits in four at bats to lead the cougars offensively. Dayton Wilson also collected a line drive single in the 8th inning.
Taft College wrapped up their baseball season at home on Friday April 29, against Reedley.
