TC vs Reedley College

Taft College Baseball wrapped up the 2016 season at home against Conference foe Reedley College. Missouri Baptist University commit Robby Brewster took the bump for his last time as a Cougar and gave up no earned runs with 8 strikeouts in his 6 innings of work. Brewster cruised through innings 1-4, then gave up a 5 spot in the fifth on 3 errors and 3 hits. All five runs were unearned. Then in the sixth, Brewster retired the side to end his day.

Luke Lubiniecki and Robert Higgs both went 2-for-4 with a double and triple. Richard Ortiz collected a double. Ricky Sottile and Dayton Wilson collected singles.

Brett Haney, Alfred Souza, and Caleb Newman each got work from the bullpen in the later innings.
