Taft College Athletic Director Kanoe Bandy was recently featured in the November 2019 issue of College Athletics and the Law, a monthly publication that features practical guidance on athletics laws, regulations, rules, policies, and procedures for college athletics administrators.
Bandy's experience of leading Taft's reinstatement of the athletics program in 1996 was highlighted in the article titled "Gaining insight into limitations sets stage for success" by Claudine McCarthy as part of the newsletter's Leaders & Innovators section.
In the article, Bandy discusses the challenges she faced and what ultimately helped lead to the return of athletics at Taft.
