The Taft College sports seasons have begun. Starting off this week we have men's soccer with 2 home games. Tuesday, August 28 vs San Bernardino Valley College at 3 pm (this was a 2-0 win for TC) and Friday, August 31 vs Allan Hancock College at 4 pm.
Women's Golf started off their preseason at the Modesto Invitational, where TC sophomore Kaleigh Irey took home the win! Their next tournament will be on September 4 at Fig Garden Golf Course in Fresno.
Volleyball began with a 2-game road trip up to San Mateo College where they took a tough loss to both San Mateo College and Santa Rosa Jr. College. They will travel to Stockton on Saturday, September 1 for the San Joaquin Delta Tournament.
The women's soccer team started their season August 29 at Santa Rosa Jr. College. The game ended in a 3-3 tie. They will have a home game this Friday, August 31 vs Allan Hancock at 2 pm.
Entry fees for the home games will be $6 for adults, $3 for students and seniors and Taft College faculty, staff and students with ID are free.
