Returning sophomore Sydney Taylor has proven to be a key contributor to the Taft College women’s basketball team this spring.
“Even though Sydney is not a post, she has been asked to guard the other teams post players,” said first-year TC head Daniel Nelms. “Her willingness to defend and rebound have been a big asset to the team.”
Over nine contests this season, Taylor’s 58 rebounds and 6.4 rebounds per game lead the Cougars. She’s also averaging 3.4 points per game.
Taylor originally came to Taft from Atlanta and is a graduate of Druid Hills High School.
