Freshman Bree Johansen out of Taft Union High School has emerged as one of the offensive leaders on the court for the Taft College women’s basketball team.
In Friday’s loss to Allan Hancock, Johansen scored a season-high 11 points. Over 7 games, she leads the Cougars in scoring at 5.3 points per game while averaging 2.3 rebounds.
