Sophomore women’s soccer player Estefani Vega has been highlighted by her teammates for what is best described as excellent work ethic. Estefani works hard in the classroom and on the field to achieve her goals, with a teammate saying that Estefani is one of the strongest defensive players on the team.
When asked what the most memorable experience of being a student athlete was, Estefani replied that she loved difficulty of the training because every struggle only helps to make her a better athlete. A great student as well as a great athlete, Estefani plans on transferring after Taft College to continue her education. Estefani plans on becoming an elementary school teacher, and hopes that as a teacher she will be in a position to help her students.
