Uriel Gandara, a McFarland High School alum, is returning to Taft College for his second season and is no stranger to the effort it takes to be a leader both on and off the field. An administration of justice major looking to become a California Highway Patrol officer, Uriel has set himself apart for his athletic and academic prowess.
Starting this year as team captain, Uriel has been described as someone you want on your team, and as possessing a passion for soccer that is usually reserved for the big screen. Uriel holds one of the top GPAs on the men’s soccer team and plans to transfer to continue his education while also playing the sport he is passionate about.
