Freshman first baseman Cierra Papademetriou from Sickles High School in Tampa, Florida was nominated for athlete of the week by her teammates for "how caring and loving she is to everyone."
Starting her softball career at five years old, Cierra decided to continue playing softball at Taft College to have what she called "the out of state experience."
A vital addition to the team Cierra closed her season with four homeruns and with the admiration of her teammates who describe her as dedicated, hardworking and as someone who is always ready to show up and support her team.
When asked about her most memorable experience at Taft College, Cierra replied, "I would have to say my most memorable experience at TC would be when I hit my first college homerun and the friendships I’ve made."
